This project was designed to create an abstract mark derived from a word or concept. I decided to go with artisan and the word “twirl” being used as my concept. I thought the act of twirling noodles would be a fun concept to design. I wanted a very active logo. As a restaurant, I thought that having an active logo would entice people to want to eat there. The concept of having a noodle restaurant is an active eating process, so I thought that having a noodle twisting around would be a fun concept to achieve.
